Event Details
Green Drinks brings together a lively mixture of people from business, NGOs, and academia, discussing issues that affect the world around us while sharing a drink or two.
Come along and you'll be made welcome. Just say "hi" and we will look after you and introduce you to whoever is there. It's a great way of catching up with people you know and making new contacts.
This free event will be hosted at great bars and other venues around Victoria, start at 4:30pm, and go as late as you want.
These events are very simple and unstructured, but many people have made friends, found employment, developed new ideas, done deals, and had moments of serendipity. Everyone invites someone else along, so there’s always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organizing network.

A jovial mix of environmental professionals interested in the environment + a few pints (or non-alcoholic drinks!) = A relaxed and agenda-free evening of enviro-meeting and greeting.
Green Drinks International started in the UK in 1989 and has rapidly become a worldwide event. Drop in and you'll be made welcome. Just say, "are you green?" and we will look after you and introduce you to whoever is there. It's a great way of catching up with people you know and for making new contacts.
With the number of environmental professionals in Victoria, we're hoping Green Drinks becomes a regular thing!
